Tapioca Express is a Taiwanese-American fast-food chain specializing in bubble tea, coffee, and a variety of fruit juices, slushes, small meals, and light snacks.
I served as the Social Media Manager for Tapioca Express, creating content, managing their social media, and creating their social media strategy.
Collaborative Giveaways





Given a limited budget, I had to devise a simple and cost-effective method that would boost engagement and follower count. To achieve this, I collaborated with two prominent and influential accounts within the boba tea industry to set up collaborative giveaways.

I collaborated with Bobalife, a discount card company that works with numerous boba tea shops to allow participating customers to receive benefits.
I also collaborated with Smoko, an e-commerce shop specializing in "all things unicorn, diffuser, handwarmers, corgi, and more!"
I directly contacted and worked with these influential accounts. I created content and designed the giveaways to maximize participation from followers.

Content Strategy
Before working with Tapioca Express, their social media strategy was not cohesive and their brand voice was unclear.
To solve this, I created brand-aligning content, utilized consistent photo filters, and maintained a constant brand voice in captions.

I employed a brand voice that featured puns, pop culture references, and emojis to create a casual, fun, and relatable brand personality.








Story Highlights

To add to the authenticity of the page, I added story highlights that featured Tapioca Express' wide array of products.
Due to the wide array of products Tapioca Express sold (up to 150+ items), I treated the highlights as a product catalog, providing images and copy explaining each product.









About me
As a first-generation college student, I was a bit lost on
what to study and major in. While I knew that I
wasn't entirely artistic, I knew that I wasn't entirely
analytical, either. And that's when I found
marketing, the perfect balance between the two.
